Stage Support Services is owned and managed by Geoff Russell who has been involved in the live entertainment field for more than 40 years, initially as a musician then later as a lighting consultant and production co-ordinator.
We can call on a vast inventory of equipment, including one of the largest stockholdings of the SteelDeck™ staging system in the Midlands. We are able to supply virtually any technical or mechanical component part of a live entertainment event whether indoors or outdoors.
As well as seating and staging, we hold stage canopies from 3 to 20 metres in width, stage lighting, frame type marquees in every size up to 15m x 50m, flood and security lighting, trussing and rigging equipment, a wide range of PA systems, plus power generation and distribution for indoor and outdoor applications, security fencing and crowd barriers.
• We carry standard insurance levels of £5m Public Liability Insurance and can quote to increase this to £10m if your event requires it. We also hold £10m cover for Employee Liability. All of our equipment has all the relevant Health and Safety documentation and is tested by our in house technicians. Copies of certificates are available to clients on request.
• We have our own transport fleet - some equipped with their own attached forklifts, as we have found over many years that keeping the transport element under our DIRECT control has been key to delivering the promised service on time and without drama.
• Our service to our clients includes help in the planning stages (we have CAD facility) right up to the organising of the site cleaning after an event. We are also happy to attend debriefings after the event thus proving our long-term commitment to our client's success.
